She was predeceased by: her parents, Soter Gervious and Anna Beatrice Manning (Layton); and her former husband James Merl Wadkins. She is survived by: her daughter Ann "Pud"; her husband Geoff Scheerer of Hoffman Estates; and her children, Pam (Kevin Gilmore) of Taylorville, Jim Wadkins of Vandalia and Tammy (Marlin Filer) of Vandalia. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
