She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Campbell and Beulah Campbell (Caudry); her daughter Charlotte Hellman; and her siblings, Dorothy Frey, Kenneth Campbell, Vera Hendrix, Ramona Lanham and Wesley Lanham.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd H. Simmons; her children, Ronald Simmons of Vandalia and Sandra Simmons of Mobile, AL; her son-in-law Robert Hellman (Tammy) of Vandalia; her grandsons, Derek Hellman, Ryan Hellman, Steve Simmons, Alan Paulding and Trevor Simmons; and her brothers, Malcolm Campbell and Vern Lanham.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
