She was predeceased by: her parents, Rollie Elder and Dora Elder (Swick); her husband Wayne Richards; her daughter Karen Ross; her children-in-law, Robert Smith, Lois Richards and Renee Diveley; her siblings, Rollie Elder, Bill Elder, Faye Davison and Viva Dial; and her close friend Kenneth Grotts.
She is survived by: her sons, C. M. "Bud" Diveley (Bea) of Brownstown, Charles "Chucky" Richards of Sterling and Terry Richards (Loretta Muelberg) of Vandalia; her son-in-law James Ross of Machesney Park; her daughters, Dora "Dodie" Davison (Bill) of Vandalia, Diana Stephens (Richard) of Cowden and Dana "Darlene" Smith of Barnhart, MO; and her brother Charles Elder (Jean) of Nelson. She is also survived by 128 grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and adopted grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
