It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dena L. Rowley of Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Bert I. Cherry and Vigie Cherry; her brothers, Bert B. and Bill; and her daughter Debbie Lawson.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Rowley (Kan) of Vandalia; her children, Dan (Donna) of Beltsville, David (Christine) of Surry and Dinah Jordan (Gale) of Kissimmee, Fla.; her son-in-law Joe Lawson (Joy) of Vandalia; and her grandchildren, Christy Forbes (Doug), Becky Mosher (Micah), Tim Lawson, Daniel Rowley, Treva Rowley and Josh Lawson (Kristen). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Fayette County Health Department Hospice or Dena's alma mater of Oklahoma Baptist University.
