She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick "Leon" Holman and Loretta Pearl Holman (Hissong). She is survived by: her husband Rodger Carpenter of Vandalia; her daughters, Tasha (James Davis) of Brownstown, Melissa Guffey of Vandalia and Ashley (Robert Lee) of Effingham; her grandchildren, Ethan Koonce of Vandalia and Sara Koonce of Vandalia; and her siblings, Brenda Lorton (Doug Newburn) of Beecher City, Penny Buie of Beecher City and Doug Holman (Denise) of Altamont. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
