Cecil Williams Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecil Williams of Vandalia, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Cecil farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Cecil is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Colby T. Williams and Mary Williams (Lash); his wife Dorothy June Williams (Oglesby); and his siblings, James Williams and Cleo Westphal.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie (Pam) of Homewood, IL, Charles (Suzanne) of Collinsville, IL and Patricia (Richard) of Colorado Springs, CO.; and his friend Betty Sanders of Patoka. He is also survived by children, he was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, his children and grandchildren, he is survived by extended family and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Vandalia Lions Club.
