With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burl Prater of Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Prater and Bertha Mae Prater (Hastings). He is survived by: his children, Melissa D. Prater, Moulton, Deana J. Prater and Jeffrey D. Prater; his sister Jeannie Cole of Farmington, MO; and his close friend Patricia Bales of Vandalia, IL.. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren.
