He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Thomas and Madelene Dunn (Hunt) of Virginia; his wife Linda Lou (Greek); and his brothers, James Dunn, Raymond Dunn and John Dunn.

He is survived by: his children, Billy Joe Dunn and Brandi Dunn; his grandson Christopher Brandtonies; and his siblings, David Dunn, Mary Dunn and Rose Alexander of Alabama.
