She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Meador and Verble Meador (Williams); her children, Curtis Carman and Karen Thoman; and her grandchildren, Anthony Workman and Gabrielle Harl.
She is survived by: her husband Earnest Carman of Vandalia; her children, Connie (Mike Hobler) of Vandalia, Sandra (Troy Gibson) of Ramsey, Sherri (Scott Workman) of Vandalia and Trent Carman (Josie) of Highland; her brother Dan Meador of Blue Mound; and her grandchildren, Michael Hobler (Debra), Angela (Matthew Graumenz), Michelle (Jesse Ruffner), Danielle Harl (Brad), Arielle (Dayne Huckaba), Chantelle Lasowski, David Gibson (Crystal), Derek Gibson (Allison), Bailee Workman (Cade), Ally Grace Carman and Jenna Carman. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
