He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Edward Jones and Mary Muriel Jones (Boyer). He is survived by: his children, Jamie Jones of Valier, Amy Fornear (Finius) of DuQuoin, Kristen Melvin of Valier and Mandy Rector of DuQuoin; and his brother John Jones (Edie) of Benton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reedy Funeral Home (604 E Main St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
