He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gouge and Stella Gouge (Overturf); his spouse Jenetta Fay Gouge (Harrison); his daughter Stella Robinson; and his siblings, Dolores Holleman, Edna Avery, James Gouge, Albert Gouge and Daniel Gouge.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Gouge (Janice), Robin Akin (Vince) and Joseph Gouge; his grandchildren, Sarah Ferber (Jason), Christina Braun (Patrick), Holly Akin (Vint), Jacob Gouge (Megan) and Katie Gouge; and his great grandchildren, Lennox, Zoey, Avery, Madison, Cassandra, Hayden, Blake, Naomi, Abigail, Penelope and Hattie Lou.
