She was predeceased by: her parents, John Friend and Florence Friend (Linthicun); and her brother Charles Friend. She is survived by: her children, Chris L. Gore, Anita Gore and Berman Gore, II (Marcell); her siblings, John Friend, Jerry Friend, Vicki Helms, Linda Keefe and Deb Layton; and her grandchildren, Allison M. Jett (Mark), Aleah C. Gore, Christopher "Vali" Gore, Berman Gore, III, Danny Gore, Jasimen Gore and James Pursell. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
