It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Alan McMurray of Valier, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Dean; his parents-in-law, Charlene Helfrich and Eugene Helfrich; and his brother-in-law Eddie Edwards. He is survived by: his mother Ara Lee McMurray (Duckworth) of DuQuoin; his wife Becky McMurray (Helfrich); his son Timothy McMurray (Autumn) of Valier; his grandchildren, Hayden, Liam, Jude, Brenden and Emma; his brothers, Ronald McMurray (Kristy) of Valier and Paul Dean McMurray (Lynn) of West Frankfort, IL; and his sister-in-law Lisa Edwards. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sesser-Valier Athletic Department and will be accepted at the funeral Home.
