He was predeceased by: his parents, Trinidad Almeda and Leonore Almeda (Huerta); his wife Marie Barnhart; and his siblings, Joseph, Raymond, Anthony, Steven Almeda, Catherine Arroyo, Mary Cabrera and Victoria Hensley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nicki Pearce (Tyler) of Utica and Sheila Degner (Curt) of Sycamore; his grandchildren, Liam, Noah, Kaia and Koen; and his siblings, Francis "Peppy" Almeda of Ottawa, Herlinda "Linda" Almeda and Josie Jeffries (Jerry) of Ottawa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
