It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Mason of Urbana, Illinois, born in Sadorus, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William H. Mason and Edna Holl Mason; his sisters, Lois Gepner of Urbana and Donna McCoyne of Sarasota, Florida.; and his nieces and nephews, Marsha Gepner of Urbana, Marilyn Miller (Gary) of Cary, Illinois, Michael, Mark McCoyne of Homewood, Illinois. and Brookdale. He was also cherished by four grandnieces and three grandnephews, two great-grandnephews and two great-grandnieces.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to the Urbana Parks Foundation [email protected] would be most appreciated, as one of Bill's favorite places—where he spent hours and made many amazing photographs—was Meadowbrook Park.
