Sylvia D. Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia D. Smith of Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Smith and Hazel Smith (Hartle). She is survived by: her husband Virgil Smith; her children, Joyce Clark (David) of Urbana, IL, Virginia Beasley (Richard) of Urbana, IL, Kathleen Hylla of Savoy, IL and Brian Smith (Sheila) of Champaign, IL; her grandchildren, Brett, Aaron, Jeff, Stacie, Chris, Todd, Samantha, Trey and Brianne; and her siblings, Alan Smith (Joyce) of Paxton, IL and Celia Snyder (Don) of Urbana, IL.. She is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Renner Wikoff Chapel (1900 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel (1900 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802).
