He was predeceased by: his daughter Sapphire Johnson. He is survived by: his parents, Verdell Johnson of Champaign and Dorothy Beasley of Danville, Illinois.; his wife Annette Fuller Johnson; his siblings, Rochella Wilkerson of Champaign, DeShon Oliver of Maryland and Pacasso Beasley of Danville, Illinois.; and his stepchildren, Trey Sanders of Houston and Jared Fuller of Austin. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and nephews.
