He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Rinehart Sr. and Peggy Rinehart; and his brothers, Johnny, Dan and Eric.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalyn Herring of Urbana; his sister Diana Darflinger of Tarpon Springs; and his sons, Aaron Rinehart of Downers Grove and Nathan Rinehart of Omaha. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.
