He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Benting and Tena Benting (Hayn); his siblings, Ronnie Benting and Beverly Padgett; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Bracken and Lonny Padgett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney Gibson (Shay) of Arcola, IL and Hayley Benting (Matt Ellis) of Monticello, IL; his siblings, Mervin Benting (Georgia) and Marilyn Bracken; and his grandchildren, Hans Greyson Stacher, Emma Jo Gibson and Dale Harlan Gibson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (221 E Main St, Arcola, IL 61910).
