He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Dee and Lenora Wease (Butler). He is survived by: his children, Charles Wease (Angie), Christine Wease and Matthew Wease (Tanya); his grandchildren, Austin Wease, Kierstin Wease, Jordin Wease, Owen Wease and Emily Wease; and his sisters, Noma McCarty and Norma Mutch.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Renner Wikoff (1900 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802).
