With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert McCartney (Urbana, Illinois), who passed away on December 10, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. McCartney and Thelma B. McCartney (Johnson); his siblings, Clifford Paul, Charles, Donald, Betty Myers and Patricia Ann McCartney; his granddaughter Kristin McCartney; and his son-in-law Scott D. Johnson.
He is survived by: his spouse Ruth M. Bennett; his children, Robert L. McCartney (Debbie) of Urbana, Scott A. McCartney (Celia) of Urbana, Sherri D. Johnson-Voges (Tim) of Urbana and Linda L. Murphy (Mike) of Urbana; and his sister Joanne Mathis. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
