He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith; his daughters, Patricia Van Bergen of Manchester, NJ and Amy Haessly of Aurora, IL; his grandchildren, Jake Holmstrom and Kaitlyn Van Bergen; and his sisters, Margaret Davis of Champaign, IL, Charlotte Horner of Clearwater, Fla. and Kathleen Leathers of Bourbonnais, IL..
