He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wesley Henry Spitze and Nora Catherine Stullken Spitze; his children, Glenna Spitze (Paul Nance) of Albany, NY and Ken Spitze (Jenny Ingram) of Bloomington; his grandson Christopher Franklin of New York City; his sister Dora McCall (Nolan); his wife Hazel Taylor Spitze; his granddaughter Megan Spitze; his brothers, Elmer Spitze and Gerald Spitze; and his stepmother Grace McLoud Spitze. He was also cherished by relatives including nieces and nephews.
