He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Drayton; and his brother Gordon Drayton of Florida. He is survived by: his parents, Horace Drayton and Fannie Drayton (Rasmussen); his children, John Drayton of Decatur, Janet O'Connell of Lombard, Susan Spangler of San Diego and Thomas Drayton of Burlington, WI.; his sister Joyce Eggleson of Stoughton, WI; and his grandchildren, Laura Bowman (Drayton), James Drayton, Robert Richard Spangler, Michael Robert O'Connell, Christine Smalley (O'Connell), Nicole Purdom Beebe (Drayton), Maggie Wilt (Drayton) and Molly Ann Clark (Drayton).
