It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard F. Underwood (Urbana, Illinois), who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Korea, Horace Grant Underwood and Lillias Horton Underwood; his parents, Horace Horton Underwood and Ethel Van Wagoner Underwood; his wife Carol Lutz Underwood; his children, Frederick, Marilyn, David and Elizabeth; and his sister Grace Underwood Harkness. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter.
