Raymond D. McGavran Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2023, at the age of 94, Raymond D. McGavran of Urbana, Illinois, born in Numa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Earl and Betty Mae McGavran (Winger); his son Frederick Donald McGavran; and his wife Julia Ann Harl. He is survived by: his children, Franklin Raymond McGavran of Lexington, Julie Rae Savignac (Sam Feinberg) of Urbana and Jacqueline Ann McGavran of Urbana; and his granddaughters, Amanda Hopkins (Matthew) and Dawn Osborn (Chris). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
