He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse P. Broeker and Nellie V. Broeker (Upchurch); his wife Carolyn S. McDonald-Smith; his children, Ricky Broeker (Becky) of Thomasboro, Alicia Hinners (Byron Miller) of Oakwood and Laura Lathem (Scott) of Dahlonega, GA.; and his brother Robert Broeker (Glenna) of Perryville, MO.
