She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Peterson and Mary Ketcham Peterson; her brother Bill; her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Peterson, Judy Abernathy and Glenn Lang; and her niece Sharon Miller.

She is survived by: her former husband David G. Dye; her husband John Ocheltree; her children, Chuck Peterson (Harry Meyers) of Champaign and Shawndelle Dye Bridgeman (Ben) of Champaign; her sisters, Betty Gronewald (Roger) of Royal and Catherine Peterson of Urbana; her aunt Alta Peterson of Effingham; and her sister-in-law Sarah Lang of Kingman, IN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
