Smith; her children, Rebecca Pertzsch (Quint) of Denver, CO, Meghan Swaar (Blake) of Bloomington, IL and Shannon Elsey (Pat) of La Grange, IL.; her grandchildren, Adalyn, Afton, Charles, Ansel and Winston; and her siblings, Charles Danner (Marion) and Lila Hewkin (late Joe).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Merry's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
