She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Knute J. Tufte and Sophie Tufte; her husband Albert Rasmus August; her children, Ripley (Elizabeth), Pastor Robert (Ann), Joan (Edmund Portnoy) and Roy; her grandchildren, Megan, Adam, Zachary, Greta, Rho, Esha and Sophie; and her great grandchildren, Mikayla, Alexis, Sophie and Dylan.
