It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Ann Yanney (Urbana, Illinois), who passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Cross and Alphonso; and her siblings, Thelma and David. She is survived by: her cousin Barbara; her aunt Dorothy (Dot); her uncle Eddie; her children, Barbara, Joan, Janet, Sky, Beverly, Donna, William and Matthew; her children-in-law, Louis, Myron, Paula and Debbie; her grandchildren, Evan, William, Joseph, April, Melinda, Timothy, Benjamin, Melanie, Wiley, Cara and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Layla, Carly, Amelia, Kiera, Logan and Oliver; her brother Jan; her nephew Jason; her great-niece Susan; and also, Edith and Ben.
Support from her children living in Urbana and Champaign allowed her to continue living independently even as Alzheimer's began to take her memories away.
