She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cecil Nickelson and Betty Nickelson (Miller); her children, Carrie Wilson (Chris) of Pesotum, IL and Brian Hamilton of Urbana; her granddaughter Claire Wilson; her sister Connie Kirby (Kenny) of St. Joseph; and her nieces, Kaitlyn Brucker and Korynn Bensyl.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Renner Wikoff Chapel (1900 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel (1900 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802).
Kathy graduated from Urbana High School and was a receptionist for Carle Foundation Hospital for many years.
