It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Brownfield of Urbana, Illinois, born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldon Gilliliand and Pearl Gilliland Shimp (Johnson); and her siblings, Veron, Harold, Gerald 'Cracker', Lyle 'Pete Gilliliand and Patsy Wood.

She is survived by: her son Donald Brownfield (Denise); her grandsons, Josh Brownfield (Michelle) and Jason Brownfield (Monique); her great grandchildren, Delaney Tyler, Miley Brownfield, Macey Brownfield, Rylee Brownfield and Kayson Brownfield; and her brothers, Terry Gilliland of Urbana and Frank Gilliland of Fairfield, TN..
