He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Woolls DeLap; his daughters, Jennifer Bennett (Doug) of Columbus and Nikki Mercer (Brian) of Mahomet; his grandchildren, Ava, Braxton, Charlotte and Jake; his sisters, Mary Lakey (Bob) of Urbana and Dr. Martha Yearsley (John Schmitt) of Jasper, IN; his stepchildren, Karsten DeLap (Maggie) of Brevard, NC and Kristen DeLap (Todd Nadenichek) of Chicago, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Soren and Isaac; his niece Jessie Tate (Nate); and his nephews, Emmett Yearsley and Jason Lakey Urbana.
