It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lewis (Urbana, Illinois), born in Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on March 20, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ervin Lewis and Rose Evelyn Lewis (Christy); his spouse Doris Audrey White; and his children, Diana Andrews of Urbana, Jane Britton (Bob) of Champaign, John Lewis, Jr. of Fithian and Jim Lewis of Fithian. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
