She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Murdock and Courtney Murdock (Kistler); her son Stephen Paul Hackett; and her siblings, Paul E. Murdock, Harold Murdock, Ralph Murdock, Jessie M. Taylor and Charlotte B. Murdock-Dickson.

She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Forse (Roger) of Santa Barbara, CA; her close friend Ray Ahlrich; and her nephew Richard Burmeister.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Homebound Communion or to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
