He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Ann Coon; his parents, Larkin Copas and Florence Copas (Chapman); his daughters, Cheryl A. Copas (Hugh M. DeJarnette Jr) and Tonya M. Boggs (Mitchell Boggs); his grandchildren, Hugh, Aerin, Emma DeJarnette, Arianna, Kolbrin and Julia Boggs; his great grandchild Larkin; and his siblings, William Jennings Copas and Melba Jean Shepard of Urbana.
