He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles King and Ardis King (Brown); and his brother Charles King (Pat). He is survived by: his wife Olive King; and his children, Cecil King (Susan) of Farmer City, Harry King Jr. (Ruth) of Penfield, James King (Robin) of Urbana, Fred King (Gaye) of Mahomet and Becky Norton (Edgar) of Bloomington. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Champaign Park District Dog Parks, Champaign County Humane Society and/or donor's choice.
