She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Bell Hester Jones and Rev. Thomas Jones, Jr.; and her siblings, Casey Jones, John L. Jones, Governor Jones, Sr., Arthur Jones, Sr. and Annie Mary Jones Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Boatright, Terry Boatright, Tasheena Boatright, Darryl Boatright (Parisha), Regina Swan (Kurt), Otis Boatright, Stephen Boatright and Stevonia Boatright (Mitchell); her godchildren, Rebecca Crabtree, Denise Harris, Angela Bell and Damieon Shaw; and her siblings, Barbara Thomas, Ted Jones Sr., Arnold Jones and Bishop Verdell Jones, Sr.. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater Holy Temple (1409 W Dublin St, Urbana, IL 61801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greater Holy Temple Church of God in Christ (1419 W Dublin St, Urbana, IL 61801).
