We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Gary E. Mason of Urbana, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Mason (McPheeters) and Claude Mason; his brother David Mason; his granddaughter Sophia Mason; and his children-in-law, Michele Mason and Curtis Butterfield.

He is survived by: his children, Bill (Janice), Beth, Stephen (Jude) and Sarah Mason (Matthew Kendall); his stepdaughter Denise Marsh (Amelie Davidson); his son Gary; his grandchildren, Madeline, Julia, Evan, Ella, Emily and Alex Mason; his children, Rebekah Thrower (Devon), Andy Butterfield, Soli and Aviva Davidson Marsh; his niece Dawn Mason Blackman (Dean); and his nephew David Mason II of Kansas City. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Donations in lieu of flowers are preferred to Rotary International, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, C-U One-to-One Mentoring, or charity of the donor's choice.
