He was predeceased by: his parents, Erron Lee Smith Sr. and Anita Tartt; and his sister Audrey Smith-Whitaker. He is survived by: his daughter Nemiah Shepard (Eric); his grandchildren, Carmen, Carla, Frankie and Tylan; his great grandchild Vinny; his siblings, Leroy Tartt, Ann Miller, Sandra Smith and Jackie Thomas; his brother-in-law Eddie Whitaker; his nieces and nephews, Arnita Tartt, Latisha Moore, Nubia Whitaker, David Coleman and Malcolm Jamal; and his aunts, Clementha Ingram, Mildred Smith, Florine Curtis, Eartha Bea Tartt, Viola Jones and Lila Jean Tartt. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
