He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ruthstrom and Venita Ruthstrom (Cummins); and his siblings, Clifford Ruthstrom and Thelma Lind. He is survived by: his wife Joan Cross (Starkey) of Urbana; and his children, Randy Ruthstrom of Urbana, Jeff Cross of Urbana, George Cross, Abaco, Bahamas, Diane Long of Florida and Jody Walden of Homer. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
