She was predeceased by: her spouse Lewie E. Reed; her sister Rachel Jones of Decatur; her children, Richard E. Reed, Mary E. Simonton, Jean Reed and Betty J. Henson; and her grandson William M. Reed.

She is survived by: her children, Lewie L. Reed (Bonnie) of Urbana, Marvin R. Reed of Champaign, Larry E. Reed (Brenda) of Eugene, OR., Terry D. Reed (Paula Allen) of Urbana and Judith L. Wertz of St. Cloud, FL.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
