He was predeceased by: his parents, William Napier and Wilhelmina Joan Grant Napier. He is survived by: his stepbrothers, Alistair Napier and Edinburgh; his nephews, Ian Napier, David Napier and Alan Laing; and his niece Joanne Laing.
