He is survived by: his parents, Donald McKinley of Urbana, IL. and Devorah Ward of Jackson, MS; his cousins, Michael, Myles, Terrance and Kion; his niece Maliyah; his siblings, Trevin Ward of Los Angeles, CA, Camiya Spruell of Jackson, MS, Skylar McKinley of Urbana, IL and Rayonia McKinley of Champaign, IL; and his grandparents, Henry, Donna Mckinley of Urbana, IL. and Patricia Ward of Calumet City, IL.. He is also survived by his four nieces, three nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
DJ loved kids and worked at both The Pavilion Foundation and the Cunningham Children's Home as a Teacher's Assistant.
