He was predeceased by: his father Paul Jackson; his grandmother Annie Longino; and his sisters, Vivian Jackson and Pasha Jackson. He is survived by: his mother Essie Jackson; his godfather David Buford; his siblings, Polly Jackson Smith (Robert) of Hattiesburg, MS, Rose (Gary) of Varnado, LA, Edna Crider (Marvin) of Danville, IL, Barbara Crider (Derrick) of Ypsilanti, MI, Caffie Jackson of Danville, IL and Paul Jackson of Danville, IL; and his close friend Lola. He is also survived by brothers that loved him as a brother; and, a host of nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
David Jackson transitioned from this life on November 18, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
