She was predeceased by: her husband Elga Lee Kyse Sr.; her children, Elga Tyrone Kyse Jr. and Idella Kyse; her daughter-in-law Prudane Kyse; and her siblings, Jimmy Jenkins and Mary Jenkins.

She is survived by: her children, Augusta Brim, Roosevelt Jenkins, Willie Kyse (Terry), Sherman Kyse, Troy Kyse, Byron Adams and Michael Adams. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
