She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Soeraert and Florence Soeraert; her husband Clarence "Corky" Gast; and her children, Steve (Sara), Paul, Michael and Julie Gast-Leiker (Jason). She was also cherished by her four children, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
