It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Griffiths of Urbana, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Thompson and Willard Thompson; her son Robert; her sister Iva Leonardelli; and her son-in-law Carl Crusius.
She is survived by: her daughter Vickie; her son-in-law Robert DeShong; her grandchildren, Julian Hoban, Melody Hoban and Shawn Costley; and her great grandchild Alexis. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.
Memorial Service will be at Wesley United Methodist Church (Covid protocol), 1203 W. Green St. Urbana, IL at 1:00 p. m. June 30, 2021.
