He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Ivey and Anna R. Johnson Ivey; and his brother Michael Allen. He is survived by: his daughters, Lavetta Bailey and Karen Johnson; his siblings, John D. Ivey and Gwendolyn Woods; his friend Rose Harris; and his brother Danny Mitchell. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Leek & Sons Funeral Home (1215 W Bradley Ave, Urbana, IL 61801).
